It's GA$rageous in America!

GA$rageous prices = huge financial burden for millions of Americans

In January 2009 gas averaged $1.79 a gallon. Since then, gas prices have risen over 100%, with some areas of the country already paying $4, $5 and a GA$rageous $6 a gallon!

Paying $70, $80 or even $100 to fill up a vehicle places a tremendous financial burden on millions of Americans already reeling from high unemployment, low wages and disappearing jobs; not to mention the crushing effect high gas prices are having on our struggling economy.

Just a .10 cent increase in a gallon of gas costs the average household about $100 more a year! That means since January 2009, the average household now pays $1,800 more a year for gas!

And that same .10 cent increase in a gallon of gas also takes about $14 billion out of the economy every year. As a result of rising gas prices since January 2009, about $200 billion has been pumped out of our wallets and into the pockets of Middle East countries, oil companies and Government tax coffers!
